Printing
I only want to print off company records from a specific postcode. How do I do it?
Use Search to display all the companies in that postcode. Now create a Print Out. You will notice that the printing menu options have changed to Filtered... instead of All... The general rule is any menu option that starts with All, will start with Filtered when the Search button is pressed in.
How can I tell how many sheets of paper will be printed with my print out?
All print outs are shown in Print Preview mode first so you always have the option of cancelling before committing yourself to using reams of paper in your printer. Look in the top-left corner of the Print Preview window and it will show the current page you are viewing and the total number of pages e.g. 1/23 is page 1 of 23 pages.
My Print Preview show lots of horizontal lines drawn through the middle of text. Why?
You have not installed a printer on Windows. Once a printer is installed the lines are correctly orientated above and below text. If you don’t have a printer and want to read the Print Preview install a printer such as the HP Laserjet 4.
